Well, this time, I’d like to write about my impressions of the open world RPG GenshinImpact, which continues to be a worldwide hit, after playing it for about 5 months without paying anything!
My Current Situation

I have already completed all of the demonic missions up to the lightning bolt, and all of the legendary missions, and although some world missions remain to be completed, I am generally over 80% done with world exploration.

We have raised the level of characters that are used frequently up to about 80, and have released the cap at 90 for the characters that are used more frequently.
Now that you have a general idea of how much I have played the game, I would like to write about what I think were the good and bad points of GenshinImpact.
Good points
There are many good points throughout, but I would like to focus on only three that I would like to highlight.
Open world with beautiful graphics and a profound story can be played on multiple platforms.
The game quality is overwhelmingly high, and the fact that it can be played on multiple platforms (PC, PS4 or 5, and smartphones) is very significant.
The game’s data is synchronized across all platforms without the problem of data being split between platforms or the inability to play cooperatively.
Combat with simple controls and a deep system
The operability itself is very simple, with a combat system that combines three attack patterns: “normal attack,” “elemental skill,” and “elemental explosion.
However, there is a mechanism called “elemental reaction” in which each element reacts with each other to produce additional damage, and this element adds depth to the battle.
Although it is not necessary to know much about the battles in the GenshinImpact world to complete the story, this knowledge will be of great help when challenging the more difficult events.
Attractive characters and game balance
With a solid worldview axis, each character has a strong appeal, and horizontal connections and backbones are also well established.
However, due to the nature of the application’s game, each character is assigned a rarity, but the game is wonderfully balanced so that basically any character can be placed as the main focus.
Bad Points
Not a lot of them, but there were a few points of concern.
I would like to introduce these as well as the good points.
Staged story and map updates make it impossible to advance the story all at once
In an application game that is updated on a case-by-case basis, there may be times when players who have spent a certain amount of time on the game lose something to do because they are concerned about the future of the story or a new map is updated step by step.
In most cases, consumer games have a pre-prepared lead-in to the completion of the storyline at the time of purchase, but there is the issue of limited progression due to the nature of app games.
This may be a bit of a concern for players who are very serious about playing the game due to the quality of the game.
High weight of daily missions
From the perspective of those who play without paying, daily missions are very important.
As in other games, certain items are used to regenerate stamina, but the method of obtaining these items is very dependent on the daily missions.
For example, the following screenshot shows that the number of gemstones distributed at the event and the number of gemstones obtained through daily missions are almost the same.
The part of the program that made daily play quite compulsory was a point of concern.
